I. Material analysis

本课是第六单元话题三的第二课时，是一节听说课, 以违反交通规则为切入点，主要学习If引导的条件状语从句，学习提建议和制定规则。操练条件状语从句是本课的重头戏，所以2a，2b引导学生总结If条件句的结构 ，让学生口头上能够流利地运用条件状语从句。首先通过情景自然导入本课时，然后以自由回答的方式复习七年级学过的交通规则; 之后通过看图，与学生讨论图片内容来学习新词汇，为听1a扫除生词障碍，同时培养学生听前预测对话内容，有目的地听的听力技巧，完成1b; 借助1a对话进一步学习遵守交通规则的必要性和重要性，使学生了解违反交通规则的后果，增强学生的交通安全意识，文明交通意识，帮助学生树立遵守交通规则的意识。同时学会使用If条件句来制定规则。

II. Teaching aims

一．语言知识：

    1.语音：能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则，正确朗读下列单词：

rider, careless , helmet, light-colored, wear, trouble, fine

2. 词汇：能根据本课话题理解并运用下列词汇：careless, wear helmets, wear light-colored clothes, have lights on the bicycle, break the traffic rules, get a fine, make a wrong turn, cause trouble, if +sb. +do, sb. +will/情+do.等

3.语法：能够正确使用if条件句，如：

(1)If we ride at night, we should have lights on the bicycle or wear light-colored clothes.

(2) If you break the rules, you will get a fine.

4.功能与话题：能够就“谈论交通安全和规则、遵守并制定规则”等话题功能进行交流与对话操练，如：

(1) We should never ride too fast.

(2) We should also learn more about the traffic rules.

(3)If we ride at night, we should have lights on the bicycle or wear light-colored clothes.

(4) If we break the rules,we may get a fine or even be in danger.

(5)If you drive a car in England, you must drive on the left-hand side of the road.

二、语言技能：

1.能听懂与本节课话题有关的语段，能听懂老师的课堂指令并做出适当的反应；

2.能用英文简单地提建议，制定规则；能够就“谈论交通安全和规则、遵守并制定规则”等话题功能进行交流与对话操练，如：

3.能听懂读会简单的提建议和交通安全的词句。

4.能提一些合理的建议，并能用英语制定交通规则、班规、城市规则等。

三、学习策略：

1.通过本节课的学习能够掌握一些听说技巧：

（1）对图片进行口头描述；

（2）根据图片猜测对话内容；

（3）有目的、针对性地听；

（4）通过对话练习掌握重点语句。

2.培养学生的安全意识和规则意识。

四、情感态度：

   1.结合生活实际，使英语变得亲切有用；

   2.设计游戏让学生体会到英语学习的乐趣；

   3.鼓励学生大胆开口，表达中不怕出错并积极参与各种课堂学习活动；

   4.在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和和合作

   5.培养学生的规矩意识。

五、文化意识：使学生对中外文化的异同有粗略的了解：

   结合本课内容使学生明白有些国家靠右行驶，如：China, America, France, Germany, Canada, Cuba, Russia等；有些地区或国家靠左行驶，如：Hongkong, Macao, Japan, Australia, India, Thailand等。

1.学习If条件句表达一些交通规则进而谈论校规、城市规则等。

2.正确运用条件状语从句中主句与从句的时态。

Step 1. Learning goals

    Students read the learning goals together to be aware of key points.

Step 2. Leading-in

Talk about bicycle riding with two pictures to lead to the safety rules while riding bicycles.

Step 3. Practice If clause and summarize the structure of If clause.

    1.Use if to make sentences with the help of pictures and phrases in 2a.

③If you make a wrong turn, you will cause troubles.

④If you don't drive carefully, you will get hurt.

教学反思：

优点：本节课能根据课标要求设置不同的活动在教授学生语言知识的同时，培养学生的语言技能和听说练习、同时又对学生进行情感态度和文化意识方面的渗透。

缺点: 游戏接龙时可让学生先写下来，再站起来说；对各环节时间的把握有待加强；可用If条件句拓展其他的规则并提建议；

总之，本次课听说读的多，没有写作练习，以后上课要合理安排教学环节和时间，避免这样的情况再出现！
